Kiss Me

"Anything less than mad, passionate, extraordinary love is a waste of your time."

I love movies of all kind. I have to admit that I am quite the girlie girl and a complete lover of the over the top romantic movies. The above quote is from one of my all time favorite chick flicks . . .

This movie is about a girl with insomnia who works in a coffee house. She has impossibly high standards for her love and fears she will never meet a worthy man. Then in walks a new employee and they click - until she discovers he has a girlfriend. Undaunted, she moves to L.A. with a friend sure that he will dump the girlfriend and follow her. She puts all her faith in fate and hopes for the best.

Sound corny? Perhaps. I love how the movie starts out black and white, only to change to full color when she sees that the man of her dreams has blue eyes like Sinatra.  For whatever reason, I LOVE this movie. If you haven't seen it, you're missing out.

Here are a few of my other top on-screen kisses.

{Leonardo DiCaprio & Kate Winslet in Titanic}
{Josh Jackson & Claire Forlani in Shadows in the Sun}

{Orlando Bloom & Keira Knightly in Pirates of the Caribbean}

{Leonardo DiCarprio & Claire Danes in Romeo and Juliet}

{Chris Klein & Leelee Sobieski in Here on Earth}
What are your favortie movie moments that make your knees buckle and heart skip a beat? Let me know in the comment section. I'm definitely up to watching some new movies this Summer!

  1. The kiss between Romeo + Juliet always makes me cry ha-ha I have no idea why?! Perhaps it's because Leo in that movie = drooool ha-ha!

  4. Chick flicks rule.
    "When Harry Met Sally" is definitely up there.
    So is "Clueless" at the very end. They don't kiss, but it counts in my opinion.
