Flashback Friday

{Seeing the large painted lights on our tree reminds me of when I was a little kid.}
Hello Lovelies! First off, I'm so excited to have some new followers with us after seeing my "Behind the Blog" interview over at So About What I Said (Thanks Melissa for highlighting I Look Good Today!). I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed this week. Why you ask? Because it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas as we have completely finished decorating our house for the holidays. Everything looks so festive. We're definitely ready for Santa now! Hubby and I decided to go with a vintage look this year with the large, painted bulbs on the tree, plastic 3 foot candles on our front porch and a manger set from my great grandparents in our sitting room. I hope you all have had  wonderful week. I have an exciting giveaway coming up for you, so stay tuned!!!

{This is Willybumps. He's a cute twinkling reindeer that sits outside our front door to welcome our guests.}

{I love how cozy and inviting our front sitting room feels!}

{Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore help light up our front yard.}

{The vintage Noel candles we found on Ebay from the 1950s.}
{My favorite Starbucks drink for the holidays. . .salted caramel hot chocolate.}

  4. I'm so glad you like it Melissa! It does feel cozy sitting in by the fireplace with just the tree on. The wreaths on the door are real, so the smell of fresh pine is lovely!
